Power generation specialist FrosTec was busy helping business clients cope with rolling outages during the recent heat wave.

Business Development Manager, Silvia Frost says the stoppages caused “quite a bit of chaos with many emergency power systems”.

“A lack of a regular maintenance found the equipment not working as it should when needed most,” Silvia says. “This kept our technicians quite busy diagnosing the failures and restoring systems back to service. Even an urgent trip to a Riverland hospital was required to restore power during critical procedures.”

FrosTec includes ongoing maintenance and 24/7 technical support in the power generation packages it sells and Silvia says the firm has fielded many distress calls from non-clients unable to get support.

Principal, Andrew Frost is the technical guru, with 25 years experience in electrical power generation. Belair-based FrosTec has five vans on the road and a growing number of interstate clients.
