DVE Business Solutions Director, Jo Schneider has won a spot in the South Australian Young Entrepreneur Scheme for a second company she owns, Animal Therapeutics Online.

Jo, an animal lover, horse owner, breeder and dressage competitor, started Animal Therapeutics Online in 2006 “to break through the plethora of therapeutic products available”.

The ATO business sources and acquires ‘best of the best’ products for other animal owners, competitors, trainers and breeders in a one-stop-shop of therapeutic products.

Jo says the approach is just like DVE Solutions which is always developing the best and most efficient Process Improvement Solutions for clients and their organisations.

www.animaltherapeutics.com.au was launched this year. The list of products acquired will continue to grow but currently includes heat treatments, cold therapies, magnetic therapies, PEMF (Pulsed electromagnetic Field Therapy), massage therapy, red & infrared light and heat/cold therapies.

Jo says Animal Therapeutics is the exclusive Australian distributor for Draper Products which contain the ‘Celliant’ fibre used in exclusive sports ranges by companies such Adidas and Nike, and the exclusive distributor for the noted German therapy system Activo Med Combi Pro used by many current Olympians.

She is also building a portfolio of articles to assist and educate animal owners in preventative measures rather than reactive treatments. Other new features coming to the site include a free therapist directory and input from sponsored riders in show jumping, eventing and dressage, such as Wendy Schaeffer, Chantal Wigan and Kerry Mack.

“Hundreds of budding entrepreneurs were on the waiting list for this year’s SAYES program but less than 30 made the cut,” Jo says.

The program is a series of workshops over the course of a year (one per month) and a major component is matching each participant with an experienced business mentor. Participants are also given access to the SAYES HQ member only site, opening doors to many leading Adelaide business people.

“Gaining a spot in the SAYES program provides me with an incredible opportunity to network and meet other entrepreneurs. It also gives me access to an experienced business mentor and other professionals whom I will gain incredible insight and a wealth of knowledge from,” Jo says.
