Deadline for SA Food Industry Awards looms next week

South Australian food producers and manufacturers have until Wednesday, 18 July to enter the 2012 South Australian Food Industry Awards.

Hosted by Food SA, the annual awards recognise outstanding achievement in the South Australian food industry and reward businesses and individuals that have demonstrated vision, leadership and excellence in their field.

All SA food manufacturers and producers are encouraged to enter for the opportunity to showcase their success, benchmark their business and boost their profile.

Finalists will be announced on Wednesday, 3 October and winners will be awarded at the 2012 Food Industry Awards Gala Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday, 16 November.

We’ve been invited for a return visit to the Keswick Barracks where you’ll have the opportunity to chat with some Reservists and gain a greater appreciation of the personal preparation required of active service. Army Reservists will give you an insight into their equipment and the weight they carry.

We’ll assemble at the well-renowned Army Museum and be escorted to meet some 10/27 Royal South Australian Regiment members.

Reservists provide a key role in protecting our Nation. Employers who support Reservists who are members of their full-time staff receive payment from the Defence Department whilst Reservists are on active duty.
