Gerard McCabe Jewellers has celebrated its tenth birthday in Rundle Mall in a “major milestone for Gerard McCabe and his family”.

Gerard says the Rundle Mall store has become regarded by customers and the industry as one of Adelaide’s leading suppliers of superior quality, timeless jewellery pieces of international standard.

“When we opened the doors to our Rundle Mall store ten years ago we were excited by the prospect of strengthening the McCabe family brand and showcasing our collections to our customers in the very heart of Adelaide’s most iconic retail destination,” Gerard says.

“Our business is one built on enduring relationships with our staff, and this was clear when we celebrated the birthday with three of the original Rundle Mall staff members who were with us on the very first day of trading.”

The Gerard McCabe family legacy dates back to when Gerard’s grandfather established Frank McCabe Jewellers in 1932. Gerard and his wife Pauline opened the doors to their own jewellery business in 1986 and three of their four children, Jessica, Justin and Daniel, work in the business also.
