After significant recent growth the innovative provider of disability services to more than 3000 South Australians, Bedford Industries, has dropped ‘Industries’ tag and united its metropolitan and regional sites under one overarching brand – Bedford.

Sub-brands including Bedford Foundation and CareerSystems will be used to differentiate Bedford’s fundraising arm and employment services division respectively.

Chief Executive, Max Dyason says the organisation is keen to respect its past while embracing the future with increased solidarity both internally and externally.

“This year we celebrate our 65th anniversary making it a time to reflect on our achievements at the same time as confirming who we are and what we want to achieve,” Max says.

“Our regional sites also had solid foundations and have been known within their local communities by their previous names – now we are uniting our employees and staff with a strong identity and sense of family within the greater community.”

Bedford has acquired regional sites in Port Pirie, Wallaroo, Kadina, Mount Gambier, Millicent and Port Lincoln during the past two years, making it the largest organisation of its kind in the state.
